Last year, the Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest hosted more than 47,000 guests in Adams-Ricci Park Enola, PA. Visitors were entertained with craft booths, commercial displays, great food, contests, kids activities and amusements. The Pumpkin Fest is becoming a “must attend” event for the midstate area.

This website outlines all the activites you can experience during the event.  The new year brings some changes in parking due to construction in the Eastern undeveloped part of the park. We’ll announce the final plan as soon as we have information for you.   There are paved spots within the park that will be available, but they will fill up Saturday and Sunday mornings.

We’re working to several “enhancements” and new activities this year, including a portable restroom trailer for vendors and guests.  Also we’ve added several activities that will appeal to teens like Video racing games and laser tag.

BIG CHANGES IN PARKING THIS YEAR

The BIG BIG Change for this year is Parking at Highmark and Shuttle Bus Service to Adams-Ricci Park  (1.2 mile ride).
This change will allow you to park on a paved parking lot and go right to the South end of the park by the Caboose.

CONTESTS

If you wish to participate in events, come to the registration desk at least 15 minutes before the event to register

Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest by bringing a home baked pie to the registration desk before 1:30 Sunday.  Pies will be judged and prizes will be awarded

Pumpkin Whoopie Pie Eating. See how may pies you can consume in 3 minutes. Prizes for Kids and Adults will be awarded. This event is sponsored by Chris’ Shurfine Market of Enola

New this year! Bring your “art carved” pumpkins of any size to the registration desk for judging. Register before Saturday  at 12:30pm for judging at 1:00pm.

HANDICAPPED PARKING

We have designated 77 + spaces for Handicapped only parking within the park. The first area is adjacent to the Concession Stand and during the event it can be reached through the North entrance of the park off Magaro Road. Additional Handicapped parking is available in the lot near the Citizens pavilion. Fire police will be available to direct you to a spot.  You will need your Handicapped placard to gain admittance.

 we ask you to keep your dogs at home during the Pennsboro
Pumpkin Fest

Visitors to the Pumpkin Fest my drop off your family and strollers to avoid the Bus ride.

Come in the North entrance at Magaro Road.  Follow the park road past the Volleyball courts and drop off your precious cargo at the end of the parking loop. 
Sunday you can also use the loop by the Summerdale pavilion for the same purpose.
